Welcome to my website! I love to make these handbags! I start with a quality and popular brand cigar box that is in good shape. Take it apart by removing the hinges, clasps and lid. I always remove the lid and reverse opening, so that when they are carried you can read the brand, and clasp is not at bottom of bag. After sanding, sealing and polyurethaning (several coats) they are ready for new brass hardware, handles and a choice of gems and tassles to make them a bit more exciting! Each handbag is unique and has its own personality. Some bags have warning stickers that read: "WARNING Cigar Box may attract gentlemen"! These handbags are Real ATTENTION GRABBERS!
